verizon wireless cell phones?
I got the lg env touch from verizon a little less than a month ago and really want to trade it in before one month. I need advice on losing weight.?
Hey. I’m about 5′1” and weigh about 162 pounds. I’m disgusted with my body, although my boyfriend thinks I’m fine. But I would feel a lot better if I could lose my belly fat, and my thigh flab! For about the past few weeks, I been doing 40 crunches a day, and squats, leg raises, etc etc. I read online just today that doing crunches can actually make you stomach look bigger if you don’t lose the belly fat first.

I know, eat healthy and everything. But my family is all overweight. I always say buy healthier foods, and they never do. They come home with those oven pizzas and stuff. They never buy fruits and I ask them to but me bottled water and do I get any? No. I’d buy everything myself, but I don’t have a job so therefore I have no money. I just don’t know what to do, I really want to lose weight by summer, but my house is so full of unhealthy foods. No matter what I do or say, they will not buy healthy food. ): Any advice on what I could do?

Ask your parents if you can go with them shopping. Make them a deal, you will cook supper one night a week if they get what you need for that meal. Then you can take bits and pieces of that meal to eat as healthy snacks for the rest of the week.

It sounds like your family might be busy, and the reason they are choosing the unhealthy option might be due to convience. What if you could help them out?

My family and I are a bit over weight and have decided to do a 90 day healthy challenge. We all put $10 in and the winner wins all the money.

It definitely is hard when not everyone is on board.

Sounds like you know exactly what you have to do. You have started an exercise program and you are aware that an unhealthy diet will make it just about impossible to achieve your goal by summer. Bottom line is if the total calories you eat are less than the total calories you burn each day, you will lose weight. Unhealthy foods typically leave you hungry and craving more. If you have to eat poor quality food, eat small amounts during 5 small meals each day. Don’t eat within 2 hours before bed. Drink plenty of fresh water. If you can bump up the amount of exercise, you will burn more calories. Make sure you do a variety of exercises. Include strength, stretching and aerobic exercise. Do things that you find fun so its not a chore. If you don’t like doing it, you won’t be able to sustain your effort. Good luck!

Forget bottled water and get a brita pitcher…much cheaper. If your family drinks mostly stuff with sugar in it no wonder they are overweight. Tell them how you feel and beg for healthier foods. Show them the biggest loser show on tv. FIGHT FOR IT! There is much more weight loss info on the site in my source.

thats so sad that ur parents dont wanna buy healtier foods and cant respect how you want to change ur eating habits, mine were like that too, but after awhile they will hopefully give in. i would go shopping with them and buy some healtier foods, and put them in your own cupbord at home so when you get the temtaion to pig out or eat junk just go to that cupbord and eat something from there… and for the water thing, maybe you could get a water purifier, so you use your own tap water from home and dont have to buy bottled water.

for the exersice this is what i would do, and it works great! :

Pushups, to failure X2

Squats 20 X3 (if this gets easy, add hand weights to progress)

Overhead pulldowns or pullup (a weight you can do 9-12 times, 2 sets, or pullups to failure X2)

Dumbell curls (a weight you can do 9-12 times, 2 sets)

Dips (body weight to failure X2)

Ab work of your choice X2

do that 3 times a week, Monday, Thursday, Sunday

Cardio for 45 minutes, Wednesday, Saturday

Yoga 15 minutes, Tuesday, Friday
