I feel like I am loosing everything?
I have 2 kids with my husband of 4 yrs, We have built a house, getting ready to start a business, we were trying for another baby, We are now going get a divorce because of some "unforgivable" things my husband has done, I have lately been a victom of sevire physical and mental abuse, and though I DO NOT want to be with him, because I cannot take any more I am sad to think that I am "loosing" everything, the house i have worked so hard for, a business, the only thing i can say that keeps me going is my kids. I dont understand why I am so sad if I know it is something i HAVE to do. I am afraid of being alone, I am afraid no one would want me bc i have 2 kids, i just really need some words of encouragement =(

You’re just disappointed. It’s natural. You’re grieving the loss of what you thought would be in your life for a long time.

Just remember that 5 years from now this will only be an unpleasant memory. Two kids is not a deterrent for most men! Many single adults have a kid or two and possibly a divorce or two under their belt, lol. You’ll have a house again some day, and being alone is really really helpful with personal growth. Just surrender to it and don’t forget to treat yourself well. Discover something that makes you happy and confident and do it. Learn something, socialize, etc.

Material things dont make a life.. and deep down u know that.. what i think your feeling mostly is the loss of the "dream" , but where one door closes another one opens.. and ALOT of guys dont have problems being with a woman that has kids, heck most of the single "men" out there have children of their own from their own divorces.. so thats just crazy thinking there..

The great thing about material things, is u can always buy more.. u cant buy your mental status, you cant buy your phsyical status, you cant buy your childrens mental stability.. You’ve made the right choice.. your just scared of the unknown .. (been there done that) but once u get things started again, and get into a routine.. you wont be so scared.. and u’ll end up feeling like this huge weight has been lifted off of u.. Life goes on.. and houses, cars , jobs.. they tend to come and go.. your "life" doesnt revolve around those things, your life is your family.. and doing what is right for all of u , is more important then any material thing.. u can always buy another.. lifes to short to stress about the little things.. .. u deserve to be happy, u deserve to be treated with respect, your children deserve to be raised in a happy, healthy home with out witnessing anger and abuse.. your children deserve to feel safe and secure in their own home and not worried about what may or may not happen today.. and thats more important then owning a house, or starting a business.. and with a horrible , disfunctional marriage why on earth would u want to bring another child into that ??? And your not "alone" u have 2 children that are dependent on you.. find the strength within you for them.. and you’ll eventually see down the road u made the right choice.. again its just scary because u dont have a crystal ball to show u that it will all work out.. u just have to have Faith..

Girl let me tell you, I went through the same exact scenario as you have. and i will say get out when you can as soon as you can and don’t look back. Concentrate on what your gut is telling you to do, but remind your self that its best for you, trust me it’s going to feel like the end of the world, afraid of being alone, not strong enough to make it in the world. But ask yourself are you with in your heart and mind and your guts Are you the person you know that you are. inside yes she is still there, outside and to your surroundings your not. and that is because of the mental abuse. my ex husband use to tell me you cant leave me because no one will ever take you in and your two kids. Put me down not in harsh words just always small or big gestures that were hurtful or put doubt with my own self, well make a long story short I wasted 5 years of begging and asking him to leave and always within those years of bull crap and built of frustration of my own sanity to free myself to be happy again, knew what i needed to do to be me and for my children, up and left everything behind everything that i bought my apartment furniture, luckily my mom let me stay with her to get back on my feet, and had to get a restraining order, so he couldn’t call, or show up because of the guilt of feeling like everything is my fault when it wasn’t, but hearing him or seeing him come by and being nice, would keep drawing me back because of my lack of self esteem and fear of loneliness. Find some outside of support, family councilor to help with taking the steps of finding you again. and just do it, don’t listen to the crap he tries to make You feel guilty of what ever about , and believe you me, There are plenty of better fish in the see, I found many and finally found one that keeps me happy, the key is don’t jump into another relationship too fast or it will fail you need you good luck i hope things work out for you

I personally keep a nice long ally spirit level by my bed. It’s not legal if you hit someone with it, but hey, anyone breaks into my house and threatens me or my family and they’re in deep poo.

Owning a spirit level isn’t illegal either. I was also thinking of buying a nice longbow or a crossbow. The crossbow especially would be very nice at nailing burglars to doors and you wouldn’t have too much mess to clean up afterwards.

Short answer to your additional is yes.

If someone is pointing a gun at you and you have a legally held firearm, you are within your rights to shoot them. Same applies to any and all weapons. There is, please note, a legal distinction between holding a gun and aiming it; if you drop someone who’s just holding a gun, you’ll be in the smelly.

Should anyone happen to mention Tony Martin, it should be mentioned that he went to prison for not only shooting an unarmed intruder, but shooting him in the back as he was trying to flee. That is murder. Shooting someone in the back will always get you in the smelly even if they are armed.

In general, you are only permitted to respond to an attack using reasonable force. That means you cannot pull a knife to defend yourself, since a knife has no ’stun’ function. Nor does a gun.

In an emergency, you could pick up a stick and hit someone, or poke them in the solar plexus (trust me, it will stop an attack DEAD if you do it right).

Essentially, you can ‘fend off’ an attack, you can’t actually attack back. In 99% of the cases, that is the best move anyway. Kick them, punch them, jab them, and RUN.

You are not actually allowed to carry a weapon, but there is a lot of stuff that can be used as a weapon.

A thick magazine can be rolled up and driven bottom or top edge first into their face then you will hurt them. If you add a piece of sellotape to keep the magazine rolled up, then you have converted it into a weapon and you could get arrested.

You’re not allowed to stand up for yourself. There was a guy gardening when he was mugged. Killed the would-be theif with a shovel and was charged and convicted. The UK also has a very anti-knife stance at the moment (Legally, you’re allowed a 3" or under non-locking folder, but in practice that doesn’t work out too well).

However, the best bet I’ve heard is bear spray, as you are allowed to carry that around last I checked (I’m just a Yank though, so check your local laws first).

verizon wireless cell phones?
I got the lg env touch from verizon a little less than a month ago and really want to trade it in before one month. I don’t know which phones I would be able to get because I am not sure if they will allow me to get any phone or since it’s coming from a different phone being traded in if I would need to pick like a certain phone. I had my identity stolen locally back in the 90’s. I ended up having to file a police report and filing affidavits of forgery with my credit union. I then had to send copies of these documents to the various businesses (and later, collection agencies) that had been victims of the thief who stole my checkbook. If you already did these things, then the bank is being incompetent and you need to yell at them a bit. If you didn’t do the above, then you may be in a tough spot.

Yes, put 1 cup of salt in the washer with the dye use double the amount of dye and let it agitate before putting the curtains in. Stop the dye process when the curtains are several shades darker then you want them. They will lighten as they dry. Better to repeat the dye then to make them to dark. Make sure you run a bleach load after you dye them

Depends on the fiber. If they are nylon, silk, or cotton, you can dye them successfully with regular Rit or other dye you can get at a grocery or fabric store. If they are polyester you need specialty dyes and even then the dye may not take without special equipment.

what to think about my breakup?
OK I will try to make this as short as possible but it s pretty long story sorry.
Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost four years now from when we were 16 and 17, and for the most of it have been so happy and frequently said we were in love with each other. Even when I went traveling to Australia for a year we stayed together constantly talking and she even came over to spend a month with me. From this time I realized how much I missed her and actually came back 5 months early to be back with her.
Coming back early annoyed a lot of my family and i ended up with nowhere to stay so I moved in with my girlfriend and her parents. This was always planed to be a short turn thing but it just seemed to never happen. For the majority of living together we were very happy and obviously rowed but if there was ever mention of me moving out it was quickly resolved and agreed that we both liked being together and would not know different.
Anyway we stayed this way for almost a year and then for some stupid reason I started to flirt with a girl from work. The girl started to go over the top and go too far so I stopped and cut all contact with her. My girlfriend found texts from the girl and this lead to obvious arguments. But we got through it I explained and she said that she did not want to end us over that and we seemed to move on.
Again we were fine for a number of months until just recently. My girlfriend has started to seem to distrust me recently and was saying I was lying about talking and flirting with other girls. She found pictures on my laptop which were adult related and thought I had been sent them when actually sadly i had downloaded them from a website. Also at this time she started to say to me that she loved me so much and that I was the guy that she could see me settling down with but she also felt that I would hold her back as she has just been with me and she would like to experiance other things. My reply was that if she wants to do other things the only thing I will stop is her and other guys and it was left at that.
Recently I started to hear of her and onther guy getting close and him being very strong willed in talking to and seeing her. I asked her about this and she denied it saying he was just a friend and people were making it over the top and out of context so I left it at that. I started to hear more and got very contiouls of it and all her reply ever was is your not doing what you said (as in anything but other guys). In a matter of weeks we got really tense and she asked a couple of times for a break, My reply always was simply that a break is a cowards way of ending a relationship.
Anyway one day or argument got to heated and she insisted on the break so I agreed and moved out staying with my parents. That night she told me that she did love me and was sorry about all of this she just needed some time to clear her head. Only two days into this break I heard of her and this guy being together out with friends and kissing and cuddling etc… I went to her house to confront and just got a brick wall from her where she said its over and that she couldn’t be with me if she also has feelings for someone else. I left and was destroyed. A few days later I started getting lots of family issues and was just going on a downward spiral. On a facebook status of mine she had put she hadn’t moved on she just wanted to experience single she said for me to let her have fun and then she can consider relationships again. Now for some stupid reason I let my family issues cloud my judgment and other peoples advice and tried to contact her. She started to get very annoyed and said I was not respecting her wishes and giving her space. One of the last texts I sent to her I asked if she did still love me like she had said a few days before. Her reply was simply no. When I asked why she said she was hurt and angry, I tried to explain to her that hurt and anger does not stop love and got no reply. The next day I saw her at work and confronted her telling her to say to my face she does not love me and I will have to deal with it, she told me she could not in a tearful way and went.
We have not spoken since then and I know she is very annoyed at me for not giving her space and that is exactly what I am doing now. I just wish I knew where we stand and what she was thinking. It feels to me like she has managed to stop long me in the space of a few days and is moving on already. All her friends and even her best friend think she does still love me and is using other things to hide it including this guy as comfort, and they think she is having a mid life crisis and doesn’t know what she truly does want. I just wish I could talk to her and explain the situation and why i hadn’t given her space in the first place and everything else etc… but that just wont be giving space so I cant. All I can do is sit and wait and hope that she will miss me which she doesn’t seem to be at the moment.

McCain had a chance in the elections. But then he chose/accepted Palin. She made the choice EASY for me!!! Anyone who says they like her has got to be crazy…even though she reads ALL of the newspapers because it is not like Alaska is so far away from D.C. that she cannot get newspapers. She could even tell when Putin shows his ugly head in Alaska ha ha ha what a diplomat. Just youtube Palin and try to listen to her. She is the definition of an overly confident ideological idiot. What kind of judgment does that show about McCain? My point is, don’t think that everyone who voted for Obama is behind him 100%, but you can assume that we are more for him than the laughable competition.

WOW !!! At this point,, I can’t see where He’s made any !! Everything is going fine..The only failures which are present is the whining right Republicans who won’t quit crying. They where in control for eight solid years, six of which they had all three houses of power,,and not ONCE, did they do ANYTHING about Health Care Reform or Social Security, Medicare reform or anything..So if you go back to 1993 "HILLARY HEALTH CARE REFORM which the Republicans also killed with their house and senate majorities they have had 15 YEARS of which they have done NOTHING !!! I don’t know where you get your information, but this is nothing that I recognize when I researched Obama. Yes, his voting record in the IL State Senate and the US Senate was released. Try googling for the information that you say was not released! It is there!

As to his grades…do you really want to go there since the last occupant was a "C" student that could not coherently speak a complete sentence?

Running a business…wasn’t that the battle cry of the "C" student who ran this country in the ground with his corporate welfare for 8 years?

Everyone bemoans there are no jobs…how about this headline from 2004:

Not a very intelligent thing to do with taxpayer money. Nor was two wars with tax cuts that doubles the National Debt!

People should be glad that someone was willing to take the job and fix the mess of the last eight years.

I never thought republicans were that bad…although I have never voted for one…but why would anyone want to continue to allow the health care industry to rip off the American people. Under Bush…premiums increased 400 percent. Maybe you people do not mind 20 to 30 percent of your premiums paying for million dollars CEO salaries and over inflated lobbyists…but do not dictate to the rest of the people what health care they can or cannot have.

As to republicans, they had 13 years in power to address the issue of HMOs denying health care to people as the doctor testified to the republican congress in 1996. Their silence all these years and allowing health care to increase at such a huge rate tells me that republicans are NOT for the people of this country. They cater to big business and corporations. Why would anyone vote for the party of NO??

As to Obama’s international policies…so much better than the last occupant in the White House that was despised around the world…"bring it on" Bush was real brave with the lives of our children!

All the innuendos in your post pale in comparison to the last occupant of the White House….
