![Death Warrant]() Death Warrant (1990)
IMDB rating: 4.90
Plot: In an abandoned house, detective Louis Burke confronts a maniac called the Sandman. Although the Sandman nearly kills Burke, Burke manages to stop him with a bullet. Sixteen months later, Burke joins a task force put together by the governor to investigate a series of unexplained deaths in the Harrison Penitentiary. While Burke poses as an inmate, attorney Amanda Beckett acts the role of his wife. In the penitentiary, Burke is forced to survive in an environment so dismal and filthy that it makes a public restroom in New York City look like a room in a five star hotel. Burke does succeed in befriending a few of the inmates, including Hawkins and Priest, who help him with the investigation. More inmates are mysteriously murdered. Burke’s cell-mate is killed, and prison guard DeGraff puts Burke in solitary confinement, where he’s interrogated and beaten. As if that’s not enough, the Sandman ends up at Harrison. As it turns out, the prisoners are being murdered for their body organs. Back on the outside, Beckett attends a party given by Vogler, the state’s attorney general. Just as she’s preparing to tell him about the murders at the prison, Beckett receives a call from her assistant, who identifies Vogler’s henchman Keane as the man behind the murders, which also involve Dr. Gottesman, the surgeon who harvests the organs to be sold to people who are in desperate need of them. The assistant’s suspicions are confirmed when Vogler tries to kill Beckett. Burke begins an escape from the penitentiary, pursued by the Sandman and hundreds of angry inmates who have been set free and armed with the knowledge that Burke is a cop. Burke and the Sandman have brutal showdown in which Burke tries to get the Sandman out of the way so he can go after Vogler, Keane, and Gottesman.

Why aren't Muslim leaders held to the same standard as Christian leaders?
When Pat Robertson made his "pact with the devil" comment about Haiti the Christian world erupted in anger and he was publicly criticized. A few years ago when the Pope said that condoms help spread AIDS in Africa he was widely condemned by other Christians and human rights groups.
But when Mahmoud al-Zahar of Hamas called for the killing of the Danish cartoonist, the Muslim world responded by setting fire to the Danish Embassies in Syria, Lebanon and Iran, storming European buildings, and desecrating the Danish, Dutch, Norwegian and German flags in Gaza City.
When Salman Rushdie wrote The Satanic Verses he had a death warrant put oh his head by the Ayatollah Khomeini, and the Muslim world didn’t bat an eyelash. That death warrant still stands today.
I know good, peaceful Muslim families - in fact they’re my neighbors. But I’m frustrated by this apparent double-standard. Why aren’t Muslim leaders subject to the same level of scrutiny and criticism as Christian leaders?
(Ranger C, you amuse me. Could you please note that exactly the same thing is done with Christians, or do you just think yours is the only true religion?)
I’m not quite sure I understand your question. Are you asking why the Christian world does not criticize the Muslim leaders or why the Muslim world does not? I frankly haven’t heard of any Christian clerics criticizing the Muslims for things like the fatwa on Rushdie(which by the way was lifted some time ago). And I’m not familiar enough with Muslim media to know if they have criticized them. There have been recent instances of clerics in Iran criticizing other clerics, but I don’t know how widespread that is.
But I guess the real fact is that Christians criticize other Christians for violating basic tenets of the Christian religion, which is why Robertson and the Pope got chastized. The things the Muslim clerics said didn’t violate their basic tenets, so they weren’t.

Muslim leaders can tell people to go kill people and then they go kill people. so Muslim leaders have a lot of power.
also Pat Robertson is a nut

The Muslim leaders are not that great. They are afraid to try any real change because that could challenge their leadership.

As a general rule, the Muslims are brain washed from birth and throughout their educational processes to think their religion is the only true religion, so anything they do is correct and everyone else is wrong. Free thought to evaluate or question their theology is not possible for them.
So they do not see their leaders doing anything wrong when they attack other religions because their religion is the only true religion and everyone else is evil.

How could anyone hold Muslims to the same standard as everyone else? On the one hand, you have the uncivilized followers of one of the most hate-filled,intolerant,violent religious ideologies ever devised. On the other hand you have the peeople who built the civilized world. There really is no comparison.

Because Christianity is fair game in this country, and the libs feel it’s not politically correct to hold Islam to the same standards. You can’t put a nativity scene on the public court house lawn, but, muslims can sue to get equipment put into airports so they can wash before prayer times. Libs think that if they don’t hold Islam to the same standard as Christianity, the Muslim extremists will not bother us anymore.

Why aren’t Muslim leaders held to the same standard as Christian leaders?
Because most Muslims aren’t white. It would be considered racist to attack Muslims over anything they say and do. The left sees Christianity as a greater threat then any world organized Muslim terrorist group because Christianity in the West, threatens the left wing agenda and stands in the way of what the left fully wants.
Oh, how disappointed they will be when many countries in Europe fall to Islam over the next few decades.

Muslims get special privileges. If anyone criticizes them, they sue.

Where Kenyan security detained the cleric for his efforts to wild up crowds to kill westerners, jews, and hindus. He has also been noted for recruiting suicide bombers.
Now for the why? Political Correctness, and the protections that come with falling under a "protected" status..

because most are just plain crap skulled. mohamed wore a turban to cover this fact up
liberalssuckass14 | Jan 16, 2010
The "Muslim world" didn’t destroy those embassies, a handful of extremists did. To follow your logic, I could say Christian ministers said abortion is wrong and the Christian world burned clinics and murdered doctors.
Excuse me if I don’t take on faith your claim that no muslims criticized the fatwah on Rushdie or the Hamas reaction to the Danish cartoon.
