Plot: A moving tale about the power of the human spirit, Peaceful Warrior is based on Dan Millman’s perennially best-selling autobiographical novel, Way of the Peaceful Warrior. In the film, Scott Mechlowicz plays Dan, a talented-yet-arrogant college gymnast with Olympic dreams and a golden future. The athlete thinks he has it all: bookcases of trophies, endless friends, fast rides and disposable relationships. But all that is about to change. One day, Dan’s world is turned upside down after a chance meeting with a mysterious stranger he comes to know as Socrates (Nick Nolte)-a man who holds the power to tap into new worlds of strength and understanding. After he suffers a debilitating injury, with the mystical help of Socrates and an elusive young woman named Joy (Amy Smart), Dan will grow to realize that strength of spirit is what leads a man to his true greatness. From a screenplay by Kevin Bernhardt, Peaceful Warrior is directed by Victor Salva and produced by Mark Amin, Cami Winikoff, Robin Schorr and David Welch.

Is the Movie Peaceful Warrior worth buying? How about the music from the movie?
I was thinking about buying the movie and the original movie score, but I was wondering if it was worth buying. I have read the book and I enjoy it, however I’m not sure about the movie. information, and any op pinions will be helpful.
I thought the movie was ok, it was worth watching because it is one of those movies that is very insperational and moving, but I am not sure that I would want to own the movie. I would wait to buy until after you have watched the movie from a rental place and see if it is something that you would want to watch more than once. I liked and all but would not watch it over and over again like other movies, but deffinatly worth watching.

I bought it because none of the stores around me had it to rent.. ended up ordering it.. *shrug*.. it wasn’t amazing or anything.. (and honestly, I don’t remember any music worth buying)
I liked it.. but I’ve not watched it a second time.. so I guess.. if you find it cheap enough that it won’t bother you too much go ahead.. but I wouldn’t spend $20 on it.. (I actually spent more.. but I got it when it first came out)
The books were much better.
